Deb Block uses the insight and knowledge she has gained from her own divorce and from her years of divorce coaching to provide comfort, guidance, and a sounding board for women and men contemplating, going through, or living post divorce.
Deb grew up in Pennsylvania and moved to the Greater Boston area in 1984. After working as a Cost Analyst at the MITRE Corporation for five years, she decided to focus on raising her three children.
While raising her children, Deb was treasurer and president of her children’s co-op nursery school. As president she not only chaired the board of directors but also launched and executed an initiative to get health care insurance and benefits for the teachers.
Soon after her divorce, Deb began coaching other people experiencing divorce. Nearly ten years later, her practice is built primarily through referrals.
Deb is a CDC Certified Divorce Coach®. She is a graduate of the CDC College for Divorce Coaching® and certified by the CDC Board of Standards™. Deb holds a M.B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh, a B.A. from Chatham University. Deb is also a graduate of the Coach U Core Program and a member of the International Coaching Federation.
